Glad to hear your lab business is going so well, Jules! Poor little fuzzers,
though, I'll bet they do miss having more playtime with momcat. Well, they
all have to make some sacrifices for us overworked cat parents to keep 'em in
chow :)

Sounds like a beautiful wedding. I'm sure you had a great time.

Funny Holly and Artie. They all have their own unique li'l purrsonalities,
don't they? My Pawley can be a bit of a smart-aleck with an attitude. Lately
he's been stretching out to sleep on the the top shelf of the computer desk,
hanging his bushy tail in front of the monitor. I ask him, "Pawley, move your
tail please". Instead of getting it out of the way, he responds by waving the
tip of it back and forth in front of the screen. What a brat <G>

Our fuzzers have been feeling SO neglected. Summer means kids are out of
school, and my orthodontic lab was nearly overwhelmed with cases. Plus - my 18
y/o granddaughter was married on 24 Aug, so I stole 4 precious days to go up
to Wisconsin for that. WOW! Does my DIL know how to throw a party for 250
wedding guests! The catered food never stopped, and the wine flowed freely!

Got back just in time for our local "30-Mile Yard Sale," which occupied the
entire Labor Day weekend. Since the route is on Hwy 69, which just happens
to be our street, the traffic was non-stop. The fuzzers soon got used to all
the strangers in the yard, who "Oooh-ed" and "Ahh-ed" over the furry observers
inside the screen door.

Last weekend, I commented to S.P. how funny it is, that every time I go to
the john, Holly comes in, and climbs into the litterbox to do her thing. He
grinned, and said, "She does it whenever I go in there, too." I guess she's
definitely patterned on us. Either that, or she's figured out what the
bathroom is for. But her timing, in lockstep with us, would suggest the former.
What a funny fuzzer!

And speaking of funny - Artie-Pharghtie SO loves having his soft tummy
petted, that anytime I sit down, he flops down near me and turns his pretty tummy
up to the breeze, giving me that endearing, upside-down look that says, "Pet
my tummy, Mommy!" Whatta shameless hussy-ho!! Of course, I comply, because
he's so irresisibly cute! Am I wrapped around his fuzzy little paw?? NAH!
Not much, anyway.
