Hi, Group. The cat's tail serves to balance the cat while
walking on narrow ledges or fences, etc. Also, when a cat falls,
like from a window or a tree, the tail whips around and helps turn
its body right side up so it can land on its feet. Jo Anna Dale and
the three "trained" cats.
