[Cats] Tuesday's trivia question

My cat Sunshine sure was not purring when he has crystals in his urinary track and he was totally blocked.  He was actually meowing very loudly.  But I have often thought cats purr when they are content, but I have also heard that they purr till the death.

Hi. They hide in dark places and act listless and quiet.
Sometimes they purr, but it sounds different from the usual contented
purr. However, they don't cry, which is odd. (Waco was in extreme
pain with her legs having open sores, and her skin being so thin, and
this is how she acted.) Jo Anna Dale
