[Cats] (no subject)

Oh, SUUUUUUUUURRRRRRE!!! LOL!
The most luxury the Hairy Herd has, here, is "The Catty Shack," - the 14-cubby-hole condo we put up on the walls in the spare bedroom. That's their favorite nap/hidey-hole spot. AND - a serious hair collector. I have to clean the cubbies weekly with a rubber brush to remove the accumulated wads of fuzz, which happen in spite of regular brushings.

Jules, you're a genius!
(But now you need to come out here and lend your expertise <G> :)

Well, first you install a small window air conditioning unit with a
thermosensor that kicks it on when the temp exceeds 75 degrees. Then you add a
solar unit on the roof, to track perpendicular to the sun's rays all day, to
heat the place when the interior temp drops below 72 degrees. Then you
build in R-11 insulation in the walls, adding drywall to keep it in place.
Then you mud it, sand it, and paint the walls a suitable color scheme that
the kidts like. Add vinyl flooring, crown moulding, cove baseboard, and
shoe. Move in a kitty gym set, and build in multi-layered bunk beds along
the walls, with down-filled cozy mattresses. Install peak skylights, front
and back, so they can enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. Also, a
motion-sensor-operated ceiling fan with built-in catnip aroma holders on each blade.
And don't forget to hire a kitty-catering service to bring in daily treats.
All of that should put a stop to any CAT-erwauling and/or
spraying. . .

Linda, how would you heat or cool a storage shed with no insulation?
